Digital artworks, interactive systems and creative technology
I create artist-led digital works that explore how code, data, interaction and emerging technologies can become creative materials.
My practice moves between finished artworks, immersive experiences, playful experiments, public events and collaborative technical projects, often bringing together visuals, sound, sensors, AI, web technologies and real-time systems.

Different routes into my practice, from finished artworks and interactive systems to public events, collaborations and notes on process.
Featured project
Sphaerosymphony
Sphaerosymphony transforms measured air quality data into evolving music and visuals. Created with Piera Morlacchi, the project has been presented through VR, tablets, talks and public events, with future versions moving towards a more physical installation.
It is part artwork, part environmental communication, and part attempt to make the air around us something people can hear, see and discuss.

Particulate matter readings become sound, rhythm, colour and movement.
Immersive visuals
VR, tablets and spatial experiences let people move through data-shaped worlds.
Public engagement
Shown and discussed at Venture Café, Edinburgh Science Festival and Pint of Science.
Next steps
Developing ideas for physical light, sound and installation-based versions of the work.

How the work takes shape
Finished artworks, live systems and experiments in between.
My practice moves between gallery artworks, interactive installations, browser-based 3D worlds, real-time image systems, public talks, games, sensors, spatial sound and technical development for other artists.
Some pieces are polished artworks. Some are experiments. Some are built for a particular event, exhibition or collaboration. Code is often part of the material, but the form changes with the idea, setting and audience.
